To consider the

Decision:

report
Minutes:
Heledd Jones gave a short
presentation outlining the journey of the SPG so far. It was
noted that the public consultation was undertaken between October and
November 2020.
During the public consultation
period 10 individual observations were received (these can be seen in appendix
1 of the report). It was noted that a full copy of the
SPG was included in appendix 2, which incorporated some of the amendments
suggested following public consultation.
Matters raised:
•
As a result of Covid and Brexit shops are
closing rather than new ones opening. It is very important that we are flexible
with small businesses moving forward. There may well be big problems as a result of Brexit in
particular.
•
Happy
with the SPG but want to note that there are many shops closing and this will
need considering moving forward.
