THE WELSH LANGUAGE CHARTER Minutes: A presentation was given
by the Language Charter Co-ordinator. Members were given an
opportunity to ask questions. Action Point: ·
To ask the specific schools where a member is
a Governor and did not receive information in terms of the school's language
web for information. ·
To ask the Education Department to provide
information in terms of the schools that had received gold, silver and bronze
awards. |

COMMUNITY REGENERATION SERVICE WORK PROGRAMME PDF 392 KB Minutes: The Community
Regeneration Manager presented the Local Regeneration Officer’s work programme.
The Dwyfor Area Regeneration Officer provided details
on specific projects. Copies of the Cist Gwynedd Annual Report for 2015/16 that
was already published in Rhaeadr were shared. Thanks were noted to the
previous officers who had left the Council following efficiency savings/cuts
for their work relating to the funds. Action Points: ·
To ask Grŵp Cynefin what their intentions were in terms of renting
houses that would be a part of the proposed affordable housing development on
the former Ysgol Llidiardau,
Rhoshirwaun site, that is in the process of being
transferred to their ownership; ·
To receive a further update in 6 months. |

Additional documents: Minutes: A presentation was given
by the Acting Maritime Ecosystems Officer and the Maritime and Country Parks
Officer. Members were given an
opportunity to ask questions. Support was expressed
for the accreditation by the members and concern was expressed in terms of the
officers' rights to police the coastline when individuals did not comply with
the Maritime Safety Code. Action Points: ·
To provide copies of the maritime code for
members so that they could display/distribute them in their communities; ·
To receive an update in terms of discussions
in relation to coastline management before next season by asking the Head of
Economy and Community Department and the Cabinet Member for the Economy to be
present in the meeting. |
