To ask
Gwynedd Council Cabinet to make a one-off contribution of the Museum's costs
for a year in order to buy time for the Lloyd George Museum Charitable Trust to
look at the changes it could make to ensure the Museum’s future viability.
That the
Economy and Community Department report back to the Cabinet, sitting as the
Trustees, shortly in order to obtain a better understanding of the intention
for realising the plan in order to put the charity on a commercial footing as
already recommended in the consultants' reports received.
To ask the
department and the Legal Service to review the Charity's arrangements in order
to ensure that trust matters are entirely clear and separate to the Council's
matters.
