Notice of Motion by Councillor John Pughe Roberts
In accordance with the Notice of Motion received under Section 4.19 of
the Constitution, Councillor John Pughe Roberts will propose as follows:-
Considering the impact of
discovering tuberculosis on a farm and the importance of infection control,
that the Council calls on the Welsh Government to ensure that wild animals who
could be transferring the infection in rural areas in the vicinity of an
affected farm are tested as a matter of course in order to ascertain whether
they are carrying tuberculosis and to permit control measures.

A member expressed his support to the motion
on the grounds that it was a step to remove some of the burden from farmers
suffering from depression and mental health problems.
RESOLVED to adopt the
motion, namely:-
