To elect a Chairman for the Joint Committee for 2017-18.

To elect a Vice-chairman for the Joint Committee for 2017-18.

To receive apologies for absence.

To receive any declaration of personal interest.

To note any items that are a matter of urgency in the view of the chairman for consideration.

The Chairman shall propose that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during the discussion on the following items due to the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 15, Part 4, Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.  This paragraph should apply because there is no overriding public interest that requires the disclosure of information relating to any consultation or negotiations concerning any matters relating to labour connections which may arise in negotiations between the Council as employer and members of its workforce. As a result the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

The Chairman shall propose that the minutes of the meeting of this joint committee held on 8/7/16 be signed as a true record.
