WELL-BEING ASSESSMENT AREAS

Minutes:

A presentation was given by the Senior Manager – Change Delivery and Support Service.

 

Members were given an opportunity to express their opinion.

 

Action points:

 

·         Members to participate in the consultation in terms of how the County is split into areas for an assessment of the well-being of the local population, in accordance with the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 either in Rhaeadr or by sending their observations directly to the Senior Manager - Change Delivery and Support Service. The Community Regeneration Manager presented the Local Regeneration Officer’s work programme. The Dwyfor Area Regeneration Officer provided details on specific projects.

 

Action point:

 

·         To receive a further update in 6 months' time.

The Strategy and Development Manager submitted the Employment Plan in order for the Area Committee to recommend that the Council adopted it as a basis for directing the efforts of the Council and its partners in order to maintain and create employment in the Dwyfor Area.

 

Members were given an opportunity to ask questions and offer their observations.

 

Action points:

 

·         To recommend the Plan as a basis for directing the efforts of the Council and its partners in order to maintain and create employment in the Dwyfor Area.

·         To consider including roads infrastructure as a scheme in the Work Programme.
