The Chair shall propose that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during the discussion on the following item as information contained in the report is confidential as defined in section 100A(3) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the basis that it was provided by a Government Department on terms which forbid its public disclosure.

The public must be excluded from meetings whenever it is likely in view of the nature of the business to be transacted, or the nature of the proceedings, that confidential information would be disclosed.
