FILLING THE VACANT POST OF THE HEAD OF ADULTS, HEALTH AND WELL-BEING DEPARTMENT To consider
the Chief Executives report (copy for Committee
members only) Minutes: Following the
early retirement of Mrs Gwenan Parry, Head of Adults, Health and Well-being
Department, due to long-term illness, a report was submitted by the Chief
Executive recommending that the Committee considered two options to fill the
post. The opportunity was taken to thank Mrs Gwenan Parry for the service she
provided for Gwynedd residents and she was wished all the best for the future. Following a
discussion about the options, whether to advertise externally or confirm Mr
Aled Davies to the post permanently (who had been in the post on a temporary
basis for 18 months), it was proposed and seconded to appoint Mr Aled Davies as
the Head of Adults, Health and Well-being Department on a permanent contract. IT WAS UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED TO CONFIRM MR ALED DAVIES TO THE POST OF
HEAD OF ADULTS, HEALTH AND WELL-BEING DEPARTMENT ON A PERMANENT BASIS Following the decision, it was noted that the
post of Head of Regulatory Department would now become vacant and there was a
need to proceed to fill the post by advertising in the usual way. |
